Apart from the popular Express Entry, there are many other avenues through which you can sponsor your family members such as your spouse/partner, children, parents, and grandparents to become Permanent Residents.

The Immigrant Life is a community primarily focused on addressing issues of integration and settling down for landed immigrants and people who already have their permanent residency visas but could even still be in their home country. Immigrant Life Podcast has addressed all-encompassing issues regarding cultural integration, food, job and career challenges, weather, racism, home and family life that a new immigrant will go through once in this country.

However over time, a significant number of listeners have sent in questions about how they can make Canada their home, or how they could bring in members of their families to Canada. They also expressed the number of challenges they are facing in their immigration process, which for an ordinary hopeful immigrant may be complex and hard to understand. In order not to disenfranchise such people from getting the benefits of our community, we invited an expert on immigration matters to address some of the challenges being faced by prospective immigrants.

There are more than 80 programmes available if you want to immigrate to Canada. Apart from the most popular Federal Skilled Worker program there are the Start-up Visa program and the Federal Self-Employed program as well. There are many other avenues whereby you can sponsor your family member to become Permanent Residents, such as your spouse/partner, children, parents and grandparents.
