According to C.S.Lewis, you are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. But Dr. Olusoji Adewole of asks, “If you lose your health, what else have you got?”
Life is ephemeral and the fact that we live in Canada does not mean that Canada’s current life expectancy of 82.66 years is automatically ours once we move over to Canada.
This is why Dr. Olusoji Adewole MB.Ch.B, MSc, MPH, MBA, DPD, ADD, CCFPDr. (Dr. Soji) will be guiding us on how to leverage Canada’s life expectancy as immigrants because indeed, if we lose our health, what else have we got?
Who is Dr. Soji?
Dr. Soji is the Clinical Director of Pristine Health Clinic in Calgary. He is a family doctor with a special interest and additional training in skin diseases and aesthetics. He graduated from the family medicine training program at the University of Calgary. He did his additional training in skin diseases at Cardiff University, United Kingdom and graduated with a distinction award. Additionally, he is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. He is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Calgary and serves as a preceptor for family medicine residents.
With over 16Y of combined clinical practice, his practice experience spans the culturally diverse settings of four different countries. After his primary medical education qualification, he pursued a Masters of Public Health (Primary Care) with the prestigious University of Manchester (United Kingdom) and graduated with Merit. He holds a Masters of Dermatology in Clinical Practice from the University of South Wales UK (with Merit). He also has a Masters degree in Business Administration in Management. Over the years, he has acquired additional training including the Diploma of Family Medicine from the University of Pretoria, South Africa; and he is a Diplomate of the Colleges of Family Practitioners of South Africa (in HIV management).
He is a licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada, and a Certificant of the College of Family Physicians in Canada. He serves as an examiner for the College of Family Physicians in Canada and the Medical Council of Canada. He continues to pursue advance training in skin diseases and his clinical practice is now focused on this area of medicine.
Aside from medicine, he is deeply interested in financial empowerment and runs a weekly class called ‘Billionaire Mindset’ which is tailored towards financial literacy.
This is NOT one of your typical immigrant topics but it is critical for you to attend if you truly have a dream to fulfill.
However, the decision is yours.
