Canada is the best country in this world.
We are not saying this.
Well, we are. That’s why we chose to move here.

But this fact was further enunciated by 2021 Best Countries report which released last week. This report is a ranking and analysis project by various entities including famed Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania. Canada also took top spot in quality of life and social purpose.

From its glorious landscapes to diverse population Canada is an interesting cocktail of beauty and history which makes it one of the most interesting places in this world. With invitations extended to people from all over the world to make Canada their home, it makes Canada also one of the most ethnically diverse and multicultural nation on this planet. This has been fuelled by large scale immigration which has taken place in last thirty years and more pathways are being opened to welcome fresh migrants.

This is the first time since the ranking began that Canada took the top spot followed by Japan and Germany. Best Countries is a rankings, news and analysis project created to capture how countries are perceived on a global scale. The rankings evaluate 78 countries across 26 rankings drawn from a survey of more than 17,000 global citizens, measuring 76 dimensions that have the potential to drive trade, travel and investment and directly affect national economies.

It is one of the least corrupt countries and a top ten trading nation with a highly globalised economy. The report also says that Canada is perceived as having a good job market, caring about human rights and is committed to social justice.

While most countries around the world are reviewing their immigration policies and programs, Canada is opening new opportunities for potential immigrants. The government of Canada is taking carefully curated steps to encourage more skilled people to move. The government has announced plans to welcome about 1.2 million immigrants by 2023. Currently, immigrants make roughly 21.5 percent of the total Canadian population.

Canada is a great place to raise a family, popular for its high standard of living combined with the quality of life. With its initiatives to welcome more immigrants, what are you waiting for?
